Riverina Access Program (RAP)

Barellan, Ardlethan, Ariah ParK, Oaklands, Lockhart Central School and Hillston Central Schools form the Riverina Access Program (RAP).

These schools use video conferencing technology to provide students with the opportunity to complete their senior studies in Years 11 and 12.  Students may also elect to study part time for their HSC using the Pathways option.  This allows students 5 years to complete the required units for the award of a Higher School Certificate.

NSW Access Program

The Access Program is a dynamic, collaborative and challenging learning environment for rural senior secondary students.

The program is administered through Distance Education which aims to reach those students whose learning objectives are restricted through distance or other life circumstances.

The Access Program provides a shared curriculum for senior secondary students across five clusters of schools which are linked via video and web conferencing technologies. This enables rural students to complete their secondary education at their local school without having to live away from home.

Each school in an Access cluster has videoconferencing studios and equipment specifically designated for Access purposes.
